Distance Covered:

I managed to get off work just in time to snatch a lovely evening session.

Wind was due to drop steadily (which it did) and there was a packed beach of people de-rigging from the earlier wind when I got there, Big kit was obviously called for.

At first it was really hard to reach max speed due to some steep chop left over from earlier (Iv'e never really liked jumping a bit flat slalom board...) but as the wind dropped a little more the water flattened and it was great fun flying along at full speed.

At the end I could barely water-start but still seemed to zip up to a pretty decent speed with a bit of pumping and it was easy to fly up wind (even compared to the one kite-foil that was out who seemed sooo slow in comparison),

I really love clattering along in barely no wind!

A great evening on the water, and in the sun too :)
